The Magic Kettle
(Interactive Musical Play) Ages 3 - 10
Musical adaptation by Zenon Skrzypczyk
Music by Martyn Skrzypczyk
Adapted from age old Asian folk tales, our play tells the story of a poor young woman who finds an old kettle. Thinking that it will be good for making her tea, she discovers that this kettle is capable of more than just boiling water. The kettle switches back and forth from being just a kettle and a strange animal, ‘a tanuki’, which has special powers that ultimately help the young woman to escape her poverty. Wonderful Solar Stage music and comedy will be yours in The Magic Kettle.
