Birthday Parties

See Play (1st Hour) + Room Rental (2nd Hour) = 2 Hours Total

* Everyone seeing play (adults & children) must have a ticket.

* Minimum of 12 tickets must be purchased at birthday rate of $10 (reg$14).

* 12 tickets @ $10 each = $120 + room rental @ $80 = $200
(HST included).

Please Note: The Little Mermaid is also available weekdays from June 25 - Aug 10, 2012.

Includes:

* Reserved middle section of the theatre starting in the third row

* The cast acknowledging the birthday child at show’s end

* A signed poster and a book for the birthday child

* Use of the space for 1 hour immediately following the show

Please Note: For Sleeping Beauty and Memorable Munsch, this option is only available for weekend performances

Size Limitations For All Birthday Bookings:
11am shows: Maximum 24 children, with a total of 30 people
2pm & 3:30pm shows: Maximum 32 children, with a total of 50 people.

General Information for all Birthday Bookings:

* We do not have a party room. We clear the set from the stage and leave you the floor space - approximately 20' X 20' - for your party.

* We DO NOT provide any food, candles, utensils, etc.

* We DO NOT have a refrigerator; therefore, bringing ice cream cake or anything else that needs refrigeration is not recommended.

* We DO provide one long table with a tablecloth to place your food on, plus up to 4 tables with tablecloths and chairs for the children to sit at. (Maximum 50 children)

* Food, gifts, coats, etc. may be left in our office during the performance.

* You are required to help us clean up afterwards. We will provide large garbage bags.

* Latecomers will be taken into the theatre only when or if it is safe to do so.

* Tickets will not be mailed out, they will be distributed on the day of your show.

* Please advise your guests to arrive 30 minutes prior to show time. E.g. 10:30am for 11am shows; 1:30pm for the 2pm shows.

* If you require maps, directions and/or brochures, they can be mailed out to you for a fee of $1, or you can download them from our website, or pick them up at our office.

DIRECTIONS

Theatre Location
Solar Stage Children's Theatre is located in the brownstone condominium at 100 Upper Madison on the concourse level. We are adjacent to 4950 Yonge St., The Madison Centre (our mailing address). The Madison Centre is 3 blocks NORTH of Sheppard on the WEST side of Yonge St.

Parking
There is free parking currently available in The Madison Centre underground parking off Yonge St. - enter from Upper Madison Avenue. Head straight to the underground parking lot entrance. If the Gate is up, it's FREE. (If gate is DOWN, it is NOT free and the cost is a $6 flat rate on weekends.) It will say VISITOR FULL, this is not true. There is no parking attendants working, and there is no ticket to take. Head down the ramp, turn right. Find a parking spot. Head up to the concourse level with the elevator or the stairs. Turn left and walk down the hall to Solar Stage Children's Theatre.
Green P paid public parking is also available in our building by entering off Beecroft (1st street West of Yonge). There is also general street parking in the area.

TTC
The closest station is Sheppard Station on the Yonge Line. Monday through Saturday, the Madison Centre is accessible via an underground tunnel. To access this tunnel, exit Sheppard Station through the SHEPPARD CENTRE exit. Walk through the mall, and turn LEFT at the FOOD COURT. Exit the building and pass the KEG on your RIGHT. You will see a sign that says “Tunnel to Madison Centre and Federal Building”. Take this tunnel all the way through and it will lead you to the Madison Centre. You will pass a HAIR SALON on your LEFT and a MUFFIN STORE on your right. We are on the LEFT right next to the elevator.
On Sundays, exit Sheppard Station out the HARLANDALE AVE exit. Turn LEFT and walk along Yonge St until you get to the Second Cup Coffee Shop. Right before the Second Cup, look to your LEFT. The building you see is the Madison Centre. Enter through a door marked “Emergency Alarm Will Unlock Door” (not applicable during the day). Take the stairs or the elevator down to the Concourse level and you will see us on the RIGHT.
