The Gold Bird

(Interactive Musical Play) Ages 3 - 10

Our colourful, music-filled production, adapted from Grimm, tells the story of the gold bird who steals gold apples from the queen’s orchard. Marvel at the twists and turns in the plot as the queen’s daughter tries to stop the bird from stealing the gold apples and tries to bring it back to the palace to help the queen. You will enjoy the comedy and the wonderful music.

The Singing Animals of Bremen

Our interactive musical version, adapted from Grimm, presents the adventures of a donkey, dog and chicken who are too old to be kept by their owners anymore. The two animals escape their potentially sad fate and encounter robbers on their journey to freedom. Enjoy how they deal with the thieves and become the famous singers of Bremen, as represented in the famous statue in Bremen. The Balloon Tree

Adapted from age old Asian folk tales, our play tells the story of a poor young woman who finds an old kettle. Thinking that it will be good for making her tea, she discovers that this kettle is capable of more than just boiling water. The kettle switches back and forth from being just a kettle and a strange animal, ‘a tanuki’, which has special powers that ultimately help the young woman to escape her poverty.
